Load Capacity of Electric Transfer Cart

Load capacity is the core index, which is related to whether it can meet the handling needs. Every motorized cart has a rated capacity, which is determined by transfer cart structure, power system and tyres. For example, the frame is made of high-strength steel, such as Q345B, which can withstand greater pressure and ensure that it will not be deformed under heavy loads; a high-power motor with a high-quality reducer can provide strong power to drive heavy loads; and large-sized tyres with high load-carrying capacity, such as solid rubber tyres with a diameter of 400mm or more, can share the weight and ensure driving stability. It should be noted that, when choosing the right tyre, the maximum weight and volume of the goods to be handled should be taken into consideration, and a margin of 10-20% should be reserved. Assuming that the daily handling of goods is mostly around 30 tonnes, with the occasional 35 tonnes, it is safer to choose motorized cart with a load capacity of 40 tonnes, to prevent overloading from accelerating the wear and tear of components, or even triggering safety accidents.

Lead-acid batteries are affordable and technologically mature, but with low energy density, short range and long charging time, which is suitable for scenes with low frequency and low range requirements; Lithium batteries have high energy density, long range, fast charging, but high cost, suitable for the pursuit of efficient operation, frequent use of the enterprise.
2. Motor power: motor power determines the power output and running speed of motorized cart. Large load motorized carts generally require high-power motors, such as more than 30 tonnes, often equipped with 10kw or more power, to ensure that they start and drive with sufficient power, can be fully loaded under normal climbing, acceleration, to adapt to different working conditions.
3. Turning radius: In the narrow space operation, the turning radius affects the flexibility of motorized cart for material handling. Steering mechanism is a key factor, differential steering by adjusting the difference in speed between the two sides of the drive wheel to achieve a simple structure but a large turning radius; rudder wheel steering allows each rudder wheel to independently control the direction and speed of rotation, can achieve omnidirectional movement, turning radius is small. Wheel configuration also has an impact; large-diameter wheels are stable but have a large turning radius, while small-diameter wheels are highly flexible and have a relatively small turning radius. Transfer cart wheelbase is equally important; the longer the wheelbase, the larger the turning radius; the shorter the wheelbase, the smaller the turning radius. 2.
